Nourishing the ego

I have a 12th house sun. Living in my own world is something that i used to do from a young age. It's a form of escaping the harsh reality. I go there in my perfect world every time i don't like my day to day life. To be honest i could say i live two total different lives. The one in my head and the real one.

I have great imagination and i am full of dreams. I like to imagine how one day i will travel the world and experience all kinds of emotions, places, people and all these will serve me to grow.

I used to have a couple of close friends but i decided to cut myself out of all hangouts because i was not feeling myself. 

My energy seems to grow weak while in company of other people. To recharge myself, i need my space. I need to retreat. I need to be alone with my thoughts.

Actually the contact with the outside world makes me loose my energy quite quickly!

Only one thing is certain having Sun in 12th house. Living isolated in a form or another is all about this house. Either by staying in my own world or choosing to work in a secluded place or simply isolating myself from the rest of the world.

I chose the least. I am happy about it? Yes and no, i would say.

Happy because it feels so liberating by being with myself but some other times i feel the need to share those deep thoughts and needs with someone as deep and real as i am.

Natal Sun in the 12th house people see and feel EVERYTHING. They are the quiet observers at the dinner table. They won't talk much and most definitely they will reveal nothing. While a 1st house Sun may only feel good when they take care of their external self, their looks and manners, a 12th Sun will feel the imperial need to be alone with their thoughts very often, in order to recharge and feel good about themselves. Only then they can face the world at their best. They care immensely about their inner world more than anything else and how to grow soulfully. They understand the reasons and motives of people like no others. They are forgiving and compassionate. They can have well developed artistic sense and also posses huge imagination. They are natural empaths. They feel good helping people. 
Don't get fooled if you see a 12th Sun person who seems aloof, cold and spaced out. If you invest in knowing them, they are some of the best people you can hope to have in your life, if you happen to reach them! They are the most capable of building up other people, enhance or enlighten their capabilities. 

Have i already said how good they can be at helping others? In order to feel good with themselves, they feel the need to help others. Therefore here you will find the best psychologist, who can easily tap into his clients unconscious, the gentlest nurse who helps the sick, the mother who sacrifices everything in order to ensure her daughter feature or the most brilliant and emphatic actor who can totally embrace his character psychologically. This is the house where a person needs time to develop and grow himself in order to become the brilliant person he only dared to dream about!
